Bigjigs Rail is part of our parent company Bigjigs Toys. Established in 1985, Bigjigs Toys started out by producing wooden jigsaws. The business grew and our Bigjigs Rail range was developed and introduced in 2000.

Here at Bigjigs Rail we pride ourselves on developing and producing quality wooden railway and accessories at affordable prices.

We like all of our toys to have educational and developmental value as well as being great fun, so we have developed all of our wooden railway collection to inspire creativity, role-play and learning.
Our range of wooden railway can also be a great teaching aid for parents. 

We have a selection of four interactive moving accessories in our range, these items are designed to further engage children’s minds through the use of manual switches and automatic tipping features that unlock new play opportunities through these accessories.

Our collection of nine complete train sets offer great value for money whilst providing a quality toy with lots to see and do. Our complete train sets start with My First Train Set, a twenty piece train set that is an ideal introduction into wooden railway, whilst our Freight Train Set is a one hundred and thirty piece train set that really goes to town.

We also have a range of  letter carriages to personalise your own train. Our colourful wooden rail name carriages are a great gift idea for that personal touch and can even be used on Bigjigs Rail track! 

2009 saw the introduction of the Heritage Collection into the Bigjigs Rail range. The Heritage Collection offers a range of replica engines of well known classic locomotives from the age of steam railways of the United Kingdom as well as some from Canada and North America. This collection of engines are designed to be working replicas that appeal to collectors and children alike.
