During our Guinness World Record Attempt we will be raising monies for some great causes: Demelza House and The Locomotive Restoration fund.

 

Bigjigs Toys will attempt to smash the Guinness World Record for the Longest Wooden Toy Train Track at The Historic Chatham Dockyard on the 26 July 2012. The Bigjigs Toys team will attempt to build the world’s longest wooden toy train track by using over 10,000 pieces of Bigjigs Rail.

 

If you are unable to make it on the day or would like a small contribution to the charities - please sponsor a piece of track for just £1 and be a part of the record attempt, with all proceeds being split equally between Chatham Dockyard Locomotive Restoration Fun and Demelza House.

Bigjigs Toys are proud to announce their intentions to attempt to break The Guinness World Record™ attempt for the Longest Wooden Toy Train Track!

 

The monumental record attempt will be held at Chatham Dockyard on the 26th July 2012 and is free for the public to come and see.

 

We will be using over 10,000 pieces of track to reach our target of 2012 metres.

 

Spectators are invited along to cheer on the Bigjigs Toys team from 10am onwards for free of charge, where we expect to complete the attempt by 4pm.

 

Members of the public can be a part of the monumental challenge by sponsoring pieces of wooden track for just £1 each; with all proceeds being split equally between Chatham Dockyard Locomotive Restoration Fun and Demelza House Children’s Charity. There will also be competitions, play area's and other bits and bobs throughout the day!
